Good morning and HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SPRING!!!!! Boy, have I been waiting to say that! My daffodils are up about 2" and I've seen some robins and I am ready!
Even with our time change hangovers, we had a great week in preschool, both in the morning and the afternoon! Green week was fun and we had lots of fun making our St Patrick's crafts!
The morning class will continue with our fun teddy bear activities. Tomorrow we will practice color recognition and some coloring. We'll be working on recognizing our first names with more hands on (glueing!) name activities and we'll also be practicing sequencing numbers 1-5 (or 10 for some of us!).
We'd like to welcome our new friend Theo to the morning class!
Tomorrow is "X" Day in the afternoon--X is for x-ray! We are continuing to practice our addresses and our discussions about the weather. This week we'll be talking about rainy weather and exploring umbrellas and some counting with umbrellas and raindrops.
We're ready to start thinking about #9, and the poem we say is "little circle at the top, pull down the big line. If it's standing nice and tall, it's the #9!) Mixing up 6 and 9 goes on for awhile, but the poems help!
I did want to check in with parents regarding masks. We are now "mask optional" and it would be helpful to me if your choice is for your child to continue to wear a mask, can you reach out to me (or my staff) to confirm. Thanks!
Thanks to everyone who sent in disinfectant wipes!
Enjoy this sunny Sunday and here's to an awesone week!
