Good morning-this is the first tolerable morning in quite awhile! And-it's going to be another really weird weather week!
We are very excited to welcome our new friend Maddison into the afternoon class tomorrow! Tomorrow is also "M" Day--M is for mouse! We're really working hard on starting at the top and jumping back up for the diagnonal lines in N and M. If you see your child making these letters at home, be sure to remind them "to start at the top!" thanks
We continue to read books by Jan Brett and this week we'll be exploring The Hat. Mrs. Dana has lots of fun activities planned.
it's also time to start having tons of Valentine fun! We'll be making heart crafts, heart patterns, painting hearts at the easel and tracing and cutting out hearts ourselves.
The morning class will be making name headbands with hearts and even a cute heart caterpiller (counting 5 hearts to make it!).
I will get party sign-up sheets up on the door by the end of this week.
Finally, we are working so very hard in preschool to manage our own clothing--please, please, please allow your child to work on his/her own boots, shoes, jackets, etc. I know it's time consuming and annoying, but really important. thanks!
Enjoy the day, the game, and let's have a great week!
Robin
