Good morning! Welcome spring! I''ve seen a few photos, but I can not wait to hear all a bout the father/daughter dance! The decor was amazing! Well done.
So, wow, I can't even believe we're looking April 1st straight in the face! It's flying. Tomorrow is "Y Day" in the afternoon-Y is for yarn. We only have 1 more letter and then we start reviewing them-yikes! We're finishing up our number 8 books this week as well and wishing Cooper a happy 5th birthday on Thursday. Wednesday is our whole group movement and social thinking day. Mrs. Dana has actually finished the social thinking curriculum with us. We learned to listen with our whole bodies (eyes, ears, mouth, arms, hands, legs, feet): we named ourselves the "green team" last week and decided that we could also listen with our brains, hearts, and bottoms! haha!
For our whole group day this week, we'll be doing some of our favorite songs and speech exercises with Mrs. Dana and some of our favorite yoga with Miss Jeannie.
The morning class will begin exploring the sense of smell this week. We have smelly markers, smelly playdoh, some smelly cups that we'll try to identify and then we'll start to talk about some of the smells of spring: mostly mud! This is going to get fun!
Speaking of mud, the playground is REALLY muddy: be prepared!
Thanks to everyone for your support of 'crazy sock day"--it was awesome! Our role model screening day for new role models is Friday: if you know anyone with 3 yr olds who might be interested let them know! Pleassssssssseee!
Enjoy the sunny Sunday and here's to a great week!
