Good morning! Hurray for a sunny Sunday morning! Hippity hoppity-oh what fun we're going to have this week with all things Easter Bunny and Easter eggs! We're going to count, sort, pattern, paint and explore eggs in our sensory table!
The morning class will be practicing colors with our bunny and peep clip cards and we're even going to use tongs to match pompoms to different colored eggs. Speaking of tongs, how about putting some plastic eggs in a dishpan of water and try to pick them up with hot dog tongs or a slotted spoon-yes, we're going to try that too!
Tomorrow is A Day in the afternoon class. "A" is for alligator! Wow-our last letter! Moving forward we'll be reviewing all the letters and their sounds. We'll also be making the cutest Easter baskets with our addresses in eggs! We're getting sooooo good at remembering our addresses!
Now that the weather is finally getting a little warmer, we're going to try to squeeze in some outside time whenever we can. That means-PLEASE be sure your child has a jacket or sweatshirt every day for outside time (or emergencies like a fire drill). We're also still working on those zippers for as long as possible.
That's it for today-enjoy the day and here's to a great week!
