Good morning! Wishing everyone a Happy Memorial Day and hurray for a long weekend! Things are moving quickly in preschool now! We're in the final push and working hard to get everything done!
The morning class continues to have so much fun with ducks and this week we'll meet Mrs. Wishy Washy. She is a farmer that does NOT like dirty animals! We'll be talking about farm animals and doing lots of fun arts and crafts projects too!
The afternoon class continues our Eric Carle exploration and we've read lots and lots of his books. We're practicing tracing letters and doing lots of end of year assessing.
I'm working on a field trip to Dodge's Farm for the afternoon class-don't say anything to the children in case it doesn't come together. Our biggest obstacle right now is transportation-trying to secure a bus-stay tuned.
I'll be pushing out Sign-Up's for end of year parties this week.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
MORNING: We'll have a little "show" in the classroom on Wednesday June 15th from 9:00-10:00ish. The children will (hopefully! hahah) sing some of our favorite songs from the year and then we'll enjoy some snacks together.
AFTERNOON: We'll be having a family BARBECUE on Tuesday June 14th, followed by our "show" and then a slideshow! This will be from 12:15-2:00ish. I'll be needing someone to bring a gas grill and also someone to cook. Everything else will be on the sign up!
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Robin
